Hi.
I‘m an artist and composer (believe it or not) looking for a programmer. (Scroll down to see the graphics

)
Title: Dark Lord: The DuelGenre: 2D Platformer Action Adventure
Style: Minimalist 90‘s arcade/NES inspired.
Setting: Fantasy
Looking for: programmerWhat‘s done: All the content (graphics, music, texts...)
What‘s left: programming
Team: Me.
Simplified structure of the game: 1. Intro. Title Screen. Start/Continue Sub Menus. Password menu. Achievements (9) sub menu. Controls sub menu.
2. Scene 1. Stage 1. Stage 2. Stage 3. Stage 4. Scene 2. Stage 5. Scene 3.
3. Credits/Final Point Count screen. Pause menu. Game Over Screen. Requirements: Only one, really... – WORK, DAMMIT

. Every day I will send you a letter with the same bloody question „How‘s the damn process?“. ... And I‘ll expect your polite answer

.
Plans: Top priority is Steam Greenlight. I would also like to try Crowd Funding (may be I would try it even now, but I don‘t have a game-play trailer yet... sadness).
What can I suggest: partnership and friendship

. We‘ll cut each cent equally with a saw.
Other: One of the most unique features of DLTD is the structure of the game itself. There are linear platformers and non-linear platformers (mostly known as Metroidvanias nowadays)... well, DLTD is neither of the two. I prefer to call it „Arena-style Platformer“. The game starts at the very end of your typical grand RPG adventure. You‘re at the gates of your final castle, prepared to fight your final enemy – Dark Lord. And this is what it is. Grand final battle without anything else before or after. One arena. One protagonist. One enemy. But of course... it is impossible to make a full-fledged game with only one enemy, so the structure of the game is quite similar to the old arcade (or NES, or GEN, or SNES...) games. The battle consists of 5 multi-phase stages. The first one is all about traps (nostalgia trip to Persia...), second: you fight Dark Lord‘s summon creatures, third is a complex fight with a big boss (Colossus 17), 4th is all about story and puzzles, 5th is the duel itself, totally cruel and unfair. I could go on and on... but this is it for now. If anyone will be interested in this collaboration, I‘ll send them a LOT of explanatory stuff anyway.
